About Me
I started playing hockey when I was 7; soon after I discovered goalkeeping and was put in the smallest kit that could be found, I never looked back! I am a hardworking, conscientious and resilient student-athlete; when faced with challenges I put my all into finding a solution. As an athlete I am the first to be at the session and the last one to leave; always contributing 100% and looking for new ways to develop and grow. I love playing a team sport and am a confident communicator within the squad, both on and off the pitch. My enthusiasm and volunteer coaching experience, along with my umpiring and Level 1 coach qualifications, resulted in me being appointed the lead coach for the 6-8 year olds this season. I successfully manage my studies - Biology, Psychology and English Literature - alongside my hockey commitments; as well as my job as a waitress and coaching. To relax, I love to catch up with friends or enjoy some down time watching Netflix or Disney Plus with a bag of dried mango in hand :) I plan to study neuroscience or psychology; I find the human brain fascinating and want to discover so much more about it!

INTERVIEW
As a goalkeeper I am confident to share my invaluable viewpoint of game; I am a strong communicator, directing and supporting my defenders. My communication reduces the amount of times the opposition enter the D; ensuring players are positioned correctly and covering the angles to cut off play.
I want to play at the highest level possible and be surrounded by like-minded committed student-athletes. I would love to experience the sport I love, in a different environment and the increased competitiveness and standard that America colleges offer.
To improve as a player and compete at the highest level possible, alongside a successful team. To embrace the challenges that I face, have fun and achieve academically.
