Selected to represent Ulster U18 for a two-week Easter programme to Holland,
Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls’ Senior Cup Winners (Starting Defender) – BRA 1st XI.This is the most prestigious School Girls Hockey tournament in Northern Ireland and the last time BRA won it was 46 years ago. It was an honour to win this with a great group of school friends. Having been the youngest member of
the team, I’ll have more opportunities to win it again.
Selected to represent Ulster U18 in 2020 Ireland Interprovincial Series & Youngest player selected into the final squad.
INTERVIEW
Physically, my speed is major in my gameplay. It helps me defensively; making it difficult for opponents to beat me, offensively attacking up the line, and especially as 1st runner in a PCD. One thing that I am always confident about in my games is that I never fear my opponents will be faster than me. Mentally, the thing I value most in hockey is relationships.
I would love the opportunity to get a Sports Scholarship to experience living, studying and playing hockey the USA. Training and playing full-time would allow me to continue to develop new skills and to improve my hockey into the future.
I am hoping to become the best hockey player I can be. I want to learn from both coaches and teammates, have new experiences and grow as an individual mentally and physically. Overall, I want to enjoy every moment of it as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. A big focus is that I WANT TO WIN!
